Elders of St. Thomas Lutheran Church Three elders shall be elected for a one-year term by the Voters' Assembly and shall constitute a Board of Elders. One shall be elected to represent the group at the Church council. The Board of Elders shall be responsible for the services of worship, for programs of stewardship, for programs of Christian education (except for the duties assigned to the Sunday Superintendent), and for the general welfare and spiritual well-being of members of the congregation and church at large. Our current elders are Bill Schneider, Alvin Ernst, and Terrie Goss.
