Ladies Aid SocietyThe communicant women members of the congregation are invited to join the Ladies Aid Society of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, who comprise our local branch of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). They meet to promote fellowship, stewardship, benevolences and education and spirtual programs of the congregation. Through Bible study the women grow in spirtual understanding. They encourage the women of the church to be interested in the work of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

We meet quarterly 2007 meetings are scheduled for 2 p.m. on March 8, June 4, Sept 6, and Nov 1. Meetings include Bible study, activity planning, fellowship and dessert. Our annual bake sale, which takes place the first Saturday morning in December at the Freedom Township Hall, is the highpoint of several fundraisers for mission projects. Missions supported include LAMP (Lutheran Missionary Pilots), Adopt-a-Student (seminary support), and Bethesda Home. |
